Redding Arie Knap was born on September 6, 2020, in Buffalo to Liz and Scott Knap. Redding loved life…period! “Bubby” befriended everyone with that infectious smile and open arms. He never knew a stranger. He was always happy, loving, and affectionate. Redding loved being outside. The mountains were his playground with memorable times spent in his backpack and camping under the stars. Fishing with Sissy and Daddy and daily jogs and gym time with Mommy were the best. He loved his horse “Doe” and his ever-present companions, his dogs and cats. “Bubs” thrived on dirt, pj’s and a good “snacky-snack”. He is survived by his parents Liz and Scott Knap of Buffalo; his six year old sister and best friend Paisley Knap of Buffalo; maternal grandparents Randy and Ginny Johnson of Freemont, Michigan; his paternal grandmother Teryl Knap and her husband Craig of Zeeland, Michigan; his paternal grandfather Tom Lindemulder and his wife Susan of Hudsonville, Michigan; Paternal great grandmother Lois Haley of Grandville, Michigan; paternal great grandmother Louise Lindemulder of Hudsonville, Michigan and his paternal great grandfather Kenneth Knap of Zeeland, Michigan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by three unborn siblings who will always be in our hearts but never our arms.
