Curtis Laufmann

Curtis John Laufmann age 71 of Gillette Wyoming died of cancer at Campbell County Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 19th.
He was born on February 3rd, 1950 in Madison, South Dakota. Joined the Army at the age of 18, serving in Vietnam as a helicopter crew chief. Attended MTI in Mitchell, South Dakota for Culinary Arts Degree. Curtis worked as a Welder/Millwright in Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota and North Dakota area. Married Roxanne Marie Shank in 1972 (Divorced 1989) and had a son Samson Alvin Laufmann in 1979.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, hanging out at Perkins and helping neighbors. There will be a celebration of life at the Gillette Legion on Saturday, May 8th at 4pm.
