Bruce Hall Smith was born on August 10, 1940, in Buffalo, Wyoming to Thomas and Janet “Ridley” Smith.  He grew up and went to school in Buffalo and graduated from Johnson County High School with the class of 1957.  After high school, he trained as a Journeyman Electrician.  He was married on December 9, 1965, in Casper to Mary Baker, and they made their home in Buffalo, where Bruce worked as an Electrician. In 1988, they moved to Loveland, Colorado, where they worked until retiring.  Mary passed away in August 2003 and Bruce moved to Cheyenne in 2006.  He was an avid birdwatcher and loved being out in nature.  Bruce always took care of those he loved and went out of his way to provide for his family.  One of his most treasured memories was when he spent several days in Scotland with his daughter.  Numismatics fascinated him, and he had several coin collections.  He loved the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Dodgers and Wyoming Athletics! Bruce is survived by one son Zane Smith and his wife Dawn of Cheyenne, Wyoming; one daughter Connie Carter of Boynton Beach, Florida; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.  He was preceded in death by his parents and twelve siblings.
