Connie Deutsch

Connie Jean Deutsch, 66, of Sheridan, WY, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, at her residence.
On January 5, 1959, she was born to Virgil (Tubby) and Rose (Vine) Badgett in Sheridan, WY. Connie, at a young age, had a love for dogs and horses. Other passions included the mountains, camping, and four-wheeling. Many memories were made, and in later years, she spent time with her sister, Sheila, and her riding buddy, Burtie, chasing the trails.
She was employed with The Sheridan Press for years. Then, in April 2004, she purchased the OK Corral in Sheridan, WY, and operated the business until the present. One of her highlights as the owner of the OK Corral was the annual pig roast. She gained many friendships, loved her patrons, and appreciated all her employees and clientele. They meant the world to her.
In 1979, Connie married Kenneth Deutsch. Together, they had three children: Tami, Laura, and Mark.
Her father, Virgil (Tubby) Badgett; mother, Rose Parsons; husband, Kenneth Deutsch; and sister, Angel Golson, preceded her in death.
Surviving family members include Tami Badgett, Laura Wagner, and Mark Deutsch; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Wagner (Jameson); grandson, Kaleb Wagner; great-granddaughter, Olivia Mills; sisters, Rosie (Dale) Sadler and Sheila Badgett; brother, Kevin Badgett; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her precious Bella.

We rolled up to the drive-thru for a bottle and drove off with new friends and a smile, and a free bag of ice. At Connie’s place, everyone was welcome—just as they were (as long as they had ID). You didn’t have to like country music, cowboys, or even cocktails to feel at home. Connie had this way about her—a warmth and energy that could turn any space into the best place to be. But when she stepped into the OK Corral, the whole place lit up. It wasn’t just a bar; it was a family. And if you walked through those doors, you were part of it. I’m honored to have been a little part of it. I love you and miss you all.

She was an amazing person. A heart made out of gold. She helped me and my husband so many times and listen us when we needed a friend. I loved her laugh. She always made me feel like I am home. I will never forget you 💝
