Ryan Lawrence

Ryan Charles Lawrence died unexpectedly in his home in Miami, Florida on January 17th, 2024. Ryan was born to Charles and Susie Lawrence in Las Vegas, NV on November 18th, 1976. He and his older sister, Stacey, grew up in Buffalo, Wyoming with his large family on his family ranch. Adventuring amongst the vast hills and mountains in this special land was always something he treasured and felt honored to have as his heritage.

After graduation from Buffalo High School in 1995, Ryan moved to Las Vegas for college. He then headed to Portland where he finished his studies in architecture, his lifelong passion. It was in Portland where he met Leslie Droubay, whom he lived with and married in her home state of Alaska. While living there, they welcomed their son Will into the world.
Ryan moved to Seattle, where he had various jobs in the architecture and construction project management for several years. He had moved to Miami in 2024 for new work opportunities.

Anyone who knows Ryan is aware of the special character that has gone from this world. He was so quick with his wit, so incredibly creative in his thoughts and design and constant artwork and projects. There was never a dull moment when he was around, pushing boundaries and comfort zones, throwing out hilarious quips, and just full of antics. Even if there wasn’t an actual party, there was when Ryan was around.

It cannot be said enough how he treasured his son, Will. He was so proud of him and just genuinely enjoyed him more than can be expressed. He was the light of his life and his best friend.
