Mary Porter Wyly

Mary joined this living world in Sheridan, Wyoming on June 11, 1940, the daughter of Clementine & John T. Porter.

Mary peacefully departed this world surrounded in love and peace in her adopted home of Oaxaca and country of Mexico on December 17, 2024.

Mary joins her parents, her brothers, William and John, and her beloved husband and best friend, James Wyly. Mary leaves behind great memories to her surviving family and many worldly friends.

Mary and Jim were great supporters of the arts throughout their lives. They had many wonderful gatherings and concerts in their home and would welcome their family and friends to contribute, attend, and perform in the arts — this can be done by just sitting comfortably and reading a good book.

Mary would invite all to a tribute to James Wyly, which is currently on exhibit at Hotel Casa Abasolo 313 in Oaxaca until January 6, 2025.
