Korina Dawn Bartlett, a mother, a sister, a daughter and a dear friend, passed away peacefully at the young age of 57, on September 17 in Thornton, Colorado.
Korina was born October 12, 1966, in Sheridan, Wyoming to George and Melody (Ferry).
She spent her childhood years in Sheridan and Buffalo, where she attended schools and graduated from Buffalo High School.
After attending The University of Wyoming, she moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado where her children Jayydan and Spencer were born.
After living there for a short time, the family moved back to Wyoming to be near family.
During her time in Buffalo, she began working in healthcare at the Johnson County Healthcare Center and developed her passion for helping others.
She moved with her family to Casper, Wyoming, where she completed her nursing degree.
She and her children then moved to Colorado where she worked with different healthcare facilities working with Covid, addiction and long-term care.
Working in healthcare was what Korina loved most. She was a great nurse and had an incredible bedside manner. Working her last years at Kindred Hospital showed how much she cared. She took the time to get to know her patients and when the job got tough, she did her best and did it well!
Korina was a gifted artist when it came to crafting. She filled her own and many others with her beautiful work. You knew you were home when you saw her crafts.
She loved her pets and could be seen with them at dog parks and shopping malls.
She was preceded in death by her parents and twin sisters. She is survived by her children Jayydan and Spencer, her stepmother Nancy Bartlett, her sisters Kris Seals (Donnie), Kim Staatz, Maggie Burns (Todd) and brothers George Bartlett, Shawn Lawson (Kim) and Richard Lawson and numerous nieces and nephews.
