Loretta Dolecheck

Loretta Dolecheck, 87, of Sheridan, peacefully passed away on August 22, 2024.

She was born in Flasher, ND on January 2, 1937, to Adam and Regina Bullinger. Becoming the baby of 11 siblings.

Loretta met the love of her life, David Dolecheck, in January 1957. They were married in a double ceremony with her brother, Andy and his bride Sarah, on August 31, 1957. They would be celebrating 68 years of togetherness this year.

After living in North Dakota Miles City, and Glendive, Montana, Loretta and Dave transferred to Sheridan, WY with Montana Dakota Utilities in 1967.

Loretta was very active with the Holy Name Church community. From helping fold bulletins for mass, assisting with funeral dinners, holding officer positions with the CCW, to being involved with her 2 daughters in CYO. Oh, we can’t forget Bingo! Which she avidly attended at Holy Name through the years, and continued playing at Cascades of Sugarland.

Loretta also enjoyed doting on her daughters and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Bradley, both of her parents and all 11 of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, David. Daughter and Son-in-law, Connie and Sam Baer of Groveland, FL, Daughter and Son-in-law, Tarra and Jack Donahue of Sheridan, Grandson Blake Donahue and his wife, Kaitlynn, Granddaughter Marra Donahue and 3 Great Grandsons (August, Dexter and Greyson).

The family would like to thank everyone who knew Loretta and called her friend. Thank you for being a part of her life.

A Celebration of Life for Loretta R. Dolecheck will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Kane Funeral Home at 2: 00 p.m. A rosary will be held prior to the service, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

A reception will take place directly following the service at Kane Funeral Hall.
