Donna Woody

Donna Rae (Mama Donna) was born on October 30, 1943, to Wayne and Louise Jordan in Jefferson, Iowa.
She was one of seven children.
She went to school in Jefferson, Iowa. She lived in Iowa up until 1974 at which time she moved to Casper, Wyoming. In 1991 she moved to Sheridan, Wyoming, and never left. She fell in love with the mountains. She loved her yard and flowers and enjoyed the mountains with her friends and family. After moving to Sheridan she started working at the Eagles and then the O.K. Corral for the next 25 years. Donna was also involved with the Liquor Dealers Association.
She married her first husband in Iowa and had three children. She married Jack Woody in 1979 and had her youngest son Chad Woody. Jack preceded her in death in 1980 from a car accident.
Donna was known to many as “Mama Donna” and when she loved you, you knew it!
She is survived by Cindy Tallman (daughter), David Tallman (son), Chad Woody (son), Jayson Woody (grandson), Jamie Leach (grandson), Kayleen Rae Wilson (granddaughter), Kenton Tallman (grandson), Stephanie Bullock (granddaughter), Stephen Genn (grandson), Luther Corder (grandson), Jessica Adams, (granddaughter), Josie Owens (grandson), Kentrell Owens, (granddaughter), D.J. Owens (grandson), Brayden Woody (great-grandson), Aiden Woody (great-grandson), Trenton Wilson (great-grandson), Devon Wilson (great-grandson), Cullen Woody, (great-grandson), Lillyanna (great-granddaughter), Khloie Tallman (great-granddaughter), Jalanea (great-granddaughter), and PrimRose (great-granddaughter).
Alex Woody (Jaysons’ Wife), Kelly Woody (Chad’s Wife), Jenny Leach (Jamie’s wife), Opal Tallman (Davids’ wife), and Kylie Gunn (Stephen’s wife, a precious girl from Iowa). Cody Wilson (Kayleen’s husband), and Christina Tallman (Kenton’s wife).
A Celebration Of Life for Momma Donna will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Kane Funeral Home. A public viewing will begin at 10:30 AM. Service will start at 11:00 AM followed by a Taco Bar Reception in the Kane Reception Hall.
