Walter Willett

Walter Allen Willett, 76, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020, at his residence.

He grew up in Amboy, WA and graduated from Battleground High School. He joined the Army and served in Germany, France, and Italy as a Medical Specialist.

On December 19, 1969, he married Gaye Townley in Vancouver, WA and they had four children. They divorced in 1980.

Walt was a logger in Washington before he moved to Alaska to log and run heavy equipment. He loved fishing. He married Vicki Hester and they were together 27 years before she passed away. His heart was failing so the children brought him to Sheridan in December, 2019.

Walt is survived by his ex-wife Gaye Willett Koski, his brother George (Shirley) of Vancouver, WA, his four children Melody (Hans) Redinger, Philip (Sonia) Willett, David (Shari) Willett and Heidi Anderson all of Sheridan, 21 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. A private Interment will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
