Jill Chapman

A private celebration of life for Jill Chapman, a 74-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away Wednesday at her home in Buffalo will be held by her family later. Jill Barbara Chapman was born to Fred and Nellie Stevens on May 2, 1948, in Hollister, California. She grew up and went to schools in California and graduated from high school in Fresno, California. She was married on April 9, 1991, in Lake Tahoe, California to David Chapman and they made their home in Grover City, California where she managed a retail sales store. In 1992 they moved to Casper, Wyoming where she had various retail sales jobs. They retired in 2013 and moved to Buffalo where they lived until her death.
Jill enjoyed gardening and handicrafts with beads. She is survived by her husband Dave Chapman of Buffalo; one daughter Kimberly Sanchez of Nevada; one stepson Chris Chapman of California; one stepdaughter Jennifer Vanblair of California and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Shaun Hastings, her twin brother Jack Stevens and one sister Pamela Roe.
