I was one of the lucky staff members at Sheridan Memorial who got to work with Mary Gwen. I worked as a medical technologist, Mary Gwen managed her babies in the nursery. She was so caring, and professional. My oldest son was born early. She shared with me that she baptism him as she did all her premies when they were born. Rest in peace Mary Gwen. You have certainly earned your wings. You are one special lady.

So sorry to hear of Mary Gwen’s passing. She trained me in the gift shop and her kindness was so greatly appreciated. I feel that knowing her made me a better person as she treated every customer as her favorite whether it was a child purchasing a candy bar or a new grandparent buying a teddy bear for the new addition. Rest in peace, Mary Gwen.

Worked Mary Gwen’s days off and when she retired. She love her job. She told me she took her husbands spur collection, put them in water with not too good of a outcome!
She kept that Nusery spotless, too! She was. A dedicated nurse and took care of all the her girls. Great work ethics.

I worked with MaryGwen for many years in the Sheridan Memorial Nursery. She was a dedicated nurse and taught many staff her way of taking care of the babies and how the nursery should be run. She loved her family and enjoyed bringing up many family events. I enjoyed working with her did learn a lot from her. A very kind and dedicated person.
