George Jesson was born on April 11, 1945, in Belfast, Ireland to George and Rosena (McWhinney) Jesson.  He grew up and went to school in Woodside, NY, and Lake Hiawatha, NJ, and graduated from Parsippany High School with the class of 1962. After high school, George joined the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam.  Following an honorable discharge, he returned to Florida where he worked as a surveyor. After that, he moved out west and worked as a rancher. He ultimately settled in Wyoming and lived there for many years. He was an outdoorsman, loved to hunt and fish, and, as an avid car enthusiast cherished his Corvettes, of which he owned several over the years.

He was a person who loved a simple life and was a friendly and outgoing person; always ready to lend a hand to someone in need. As a military veteran who could relate, he would visit the VA hospital in Sheridan to talk to disabled vets from more recent wars. He is survived by two aunts, Helen Battistrada of Weeki Wachee, Florida, and Joan Jesson Schwartz of Fountain Hills, AZ: and a cousin, Linda Libertucci of Ashburn, Virginia.     He was preceded in death by his parents George and Rosena.
