On Sunday, September 4, 2022, Sally Hager peacefully passed away in her sleep in her home at the age of 87.
Sally was born on June 27, 1935, in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and was raised there. She was previously married to Russ Hill who passed away.
Sally married Pete Hager on January 6, 1979, and the two blended together into two families of seven children. Sally was preceded in death by two daughters Susan Morrison, and Angela Wilkerson as well as a brother Fred Catchpole. She is survived by her husband Pete Hager, sons David Hager, Ken Hager (Doreen), Danny Hager (Krista), daughters Denise Garde (Cheech) and Lisa Gyllenswan, and a brother Glen Catchpole. Sally is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pete and Sally spent 43 great years together where they traveled to the US and spent time in Europe and worked in Pakistan and Russia. During their marriage, their career took them to Durango, Colorado, Atlanta, Georgia, and Salt Lake City Utah.
Upon their retirement, Pete and Sally settled in Dayton, Wyoming.
Sally was an honored member of the Dayton Benefit Club and thoroughly enjoyed playing cards with their friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday October 8, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Dayton Community Hall, 421 Bridge St in Dayton with a reception to follow.

Sally was beautiful, smart and a keen observer of everyone and everything around her. She and Pete have done so much for their community, neighbors and friends since coming back home to Dayton. May the joy and strength Sally had in life help sustain all of you through your grief. Much love to you Pete and all of the kids.
