Ashlee Jean Turney Kaut, 36 years old, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the Billings Clinic in Billings, Mt.

Ashlee was born on December 17, 1985, in Longview, WA, to Susan Higginbotham. She grew up in Longview and in 1998 moved with her family to Buffalo, WY, where she graduated from Buffalo High School with the class of 2004. During high school, she worked at the Buffalo Veterinary Clinic. After high school, Ashlee became an employee at DJ’s Foods, where she worked until the time of her death.

Ashley was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Buffalo. She worked diligently to spread the Good News in the area. Her loyalty and firm faith in the Bible’s hope of the future resurrection sustained her and her family during her last days. She will be truly missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her parents, Phillip & Susan Kaut of Buffalo: for brothers, Coleton Kaut of Gillette WY, and Ian, Clancy and Henry Kaut of Buffalo, WY; one sister, Nahleen Walbrecht (Matt) of York, NE; her maternal grandfather, Pete Higginbotham of Toutle, WA; one uncle, Ricky Higginbotham (JoAnn) of Longview, WA; and three nephews, Gabe Higginbotham and Nikoli and Malcolm Walbrecht. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and her maternal grandmother. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Buffalo, WY, and private family internment will be held at a later date.
