Longmire Foundation Gives Donations

The Longmire Foundation has made donations to two separate entities on behalf of the supporters of the Longmire Days 2021 event. In a release from the Longmire Foundation, it was announced that donations were made to the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center (NIWRC) and Johnson County Search and Rescue. The NIWRC received $30,000 from the foundation. Their mission is to provide national leadership to end violence against American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian women by supporting culturally grounded, grassroots advocacy. The Longmire Foundation also gave a $10,000 donation to Johnson County Search and Rescue. Working in conjunction with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department these local community volunteers are ready to answer the call, day or night, rain, snow, or shine, whenever and wherever they are needed. This group of people locate, stabilize, and extract individuals in distress. To learn more about the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, click on the link here: https://www.niwrc.org. |
