Johnson County Gets Permit for Hazelton Road Parking Area

Johnson County’s Commissioners voted to accept and approve a Special Use Permit from the US Forest Service/Bighorn National Forest for a parking area on Hazelton Road.

Commission Chair Bill Novotny explained more about the permit and why it has taken so long to get it.

According to Novotny, there is no fee for the permit and the document must go back to the new district ranger for his signature.

The permit is good for this year and must be renewed annually.
