Police Chief Koltiska Presents Annual PD Report to Council and Mayor

The 2021 annual Police Department report was presented to the SHeridan City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger this week by Sheridan Police Chief Travis Koltiska. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
While highlighting some of the department’s accomplishments in 2021, Chief Koltiska talked about the community needs assessment, a project that will continue into 2022.
Koltiska said last year the Sheridan Police Department responded to 934 incidents regarding concern for a citizen’s mental health, which averages out to 18 incidents per week.
Councilman Jacob Martin asked Koltiska what the number one concern is for the police department?
