For the second time in as many weeks, a resident of Sheridan County has died of COVID-19.
The Wyoming Department of Health has confirmed the death of a Sheridan County man, raising the total number of COVID county deaths to 61.
The Department adds the man was hospitalized and had health conditions known to put people at a higher risk of severe illness.
Deaths among Wyoming residents are added to the state’s coronavirus-related death total based on the
location of a person’s permanent residence and official death certificate information.
If death certificates do not describe COVID-19 as either causing or contributing to a person’s death, those deaths are not included in Wyoming’s count of coronavirus-related deaths.

yet another tragic example why there should be an enforceable vaccine mandate…with 800K deaths due to Covid you would think Gov Gordon would “get it”…that is that the Covid vaccine saves lives…even Donald Trump “gets it”

So, is this current variant sweeping the nation really “COVID-19” or is it, as virtually every medical expert actually treating people “on the ground” infected with it, really a milder mutated form of the virus? Dozens of doctors who have now treated thousands of cases from South Africa to the USA are describing this Omicron variant as one which is, while highly contagious, very mild and far less dangerous than the COVID-19 has been. Statistics are now showing that the vast majority of those who are testing positive for Omicron are vaccinated (and most, boostered, as well) and show virtually no symptoms. One is forced, then, to question whether this is “science” or another politicized attempt at arriving at an ideological outcome, e.g. “don’t go vote in person in 2022; stay home and vote by mail,” which is precisely what the Democrats did in 2020: use the virus as a pretense to maximize “mail-in voting” which, as the bipartisan commission on election integrity warned about way back in 2005, is by far the most vulnerable voting system to fraud and manipulation. So, is 2022 to be another roll out of what worked for them in 2020? Time will tell, but it’s sure starting to look that way.

deceased individuals who succumb to Covid will no longer have the option to mail in any ballots…over 800K individuals will no longer have any choice in representation…those that died from alpha, beta, delta or omicron their “void” may have huge implications in voting tabulation…that Charles…is mathematical science

I don’t think Mark “gets it”, he keeps pushing a mandate because he thinks it will save lives and end the pandemic, I am sure because the propagandist leftists and liberal news outlets like CNN and MSNBC keep feeding him this lie over and over. However, real world data does not back up those claims, the ‘vaccine’ does not grant immunization like a proper vaccine should, vaxxed individuals still contract and spread covid, this in an indisputable fact at this point. And as for saving lives, maybe it does limit symptoms, but I would temper those expectations when you look at some countries that have 90%+ of their population vaxxed like Israel and Ireland and yet their death rates did not drop off like you would expect if the ‘vaccine’ worked, they continued to ebb and flow as if they were completely unaffected by this supposed ‘vaccine’. Even if the entire world was 100% vaccinated, the evidence shows us that Covid would not disappear, it would continue to spread and mutate among the vaxxed, and that is why a public mandate for this fake vaccine that does not do what most people think it does (and does not come without its own health risks) is completely misguided and immoral.

that is correct…I say the mandate will save lives…because increased vaccination rates will in turn increase the survival rates…even Donald Trump agrees…I have never stated that the vaccine mandate will end the pandemic nor completely stop the spread of the virus…but it will increase the odds for vaccinated individuals to experience less severe Covid symptoms and complications including better odds for survival…just like any flu vaccine has done for millions of the flu vaccinated populous for decades

If vaccinated and unvaccinated alike can catch and spread COVID, as has been proven by the “science”, and I am unvaccinated and end up experiencing severe illness or possibly death from COVID (but that was my choice), while you are vaccinated and therefore protected against severe illness and death, please explain to me why you care about my vaccination status? At this point everyone is fully aware of the risks. My choice absolutely has no bearing on you. You are protected right? You have admitted that the “vaccine” (and I use that term loosely) will not end the pandemic or completely stop the spread of the virus. We all have to learn to live with COVID. It is not going away. We have to make the best individual choice for ourselves and our families and quit playing the blame game politicians are pushing.

Keith,…To answer your question I care about the vaccination status of the general population (including yours) because 800K productive US citizens have died disrupting everything through the tragic loss of family members, world economy, supply chain issues, personal wealth, future prosperity, readiness of our military branches to fulfill their respective missions on land, sea, air and outer space and the ability of our elected representatives to fully and at all times represent their constituents, national security…potentially including altering the outcome of future elections as a result of the death of millions not only in the USA but world wide…(I could go on)…I agree with you that “we we need to live with covid” and make “the best individual choices for ourselves”…getting vaccinated including other protocols are “choices” millions in the majority of the world population have decided is the best path forward…even Donald Trump…Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Mark, I agree that we have lost nearly 800K valued US citizen; however, I believe many of your points such as disruption to the world economy, supply chain and military readiness being attributed to the unvaccinated falls short. If you look at the statistics 596,339 of the nearly 800K that have lost their lives are over the age of 65. This is also the most vaccinated group with 98.5% receiving at least one dose. Many from this demographic are most likely retired and not part of the working class. The disruptions you speak of have more to do with crazy mandates and lockdowns stalling the economy than the tragic deaths of our citizens. We need to learn to protect our vulnerable older citizen and let the younger population return to their normal lives.
If we really want to protect the “productive US citizens” they may want to close the border and stop the free flow of Fentanyl into our country, which has accounted for over 100,000 deaths in the past year. 1 in 5 of those deaths are males under 25, which would have been a large majority of the working class for years to come. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well!
