Buffalo Council Accepts Mayor’s Appointments

Buffalo City Attorney Ben Kirven was approved for re-appointment during the city council meeting this week, as well as other appointees by Mayor Shane Schrader, and beginning of the year designations.

The mayor’s recommendations approved by the council were Christy Kessler to a two-year term on the Mountain Plains Heritage Park Board; Travis Lawrence to a three-year term on the Charitable Foundation Board; Ashley Farris and Joe Michel to five-year terms on the Housing Authority Board; and Bill Ostheimer to a three-year term on the Buffalo-Johnson Recycling Center Board.

The council also designated the Buffalo bulletin as the official newspaper of the city; and ANB Bank, Bank of BUffalo, First Interstate Bank of Commerce, First Northern Bank, WYO-STAR Investment Pool, and Moreton Asset Management as the official depositories.

The council also submitted their Financial Disclosure Letters to the city.
