Liquor License Transfer

The ownership transfer of a retail liquor license from Little Goose Liquor to 307 Horse Racing was a topic of discussion at this week’s Sheridan City Council study session. As part of their business plan, 307 Horse Racing intends to offer pari-mutuel wagering and serve alcohol on site. Sheridan Police Chief Travis Koltiska provided the Council with some statistics at the study session regarding crime and drugs and alcohol.
Koltiska said he reached out to the Billings Police Department for some data involving crime in and around the area of gaming establishments as opposed to the random sections of town.
Earlier this month, the Sheridan County Commission approved a resolution to allow 307 Horse Racing to conduct pari-mutuel wagering on live and historic horse racing and simulcast events within the county. The Council is expected to consider the transfer of the retail liquor license at an upcoming regularly scheduled business meeting.
