Sheridan County School District Two has conducted its bi-weekly review of the COVID-19 plan that was approved by the Board of Trustees on August 30. School District Two issued a media release late Monday that states the district will remain consistent with the COVID-19 plan as approved on August 30 that requires all students, staff and visitors to wear masks inside all School District Two buildings. The plan will be reviewed again on Monday, November 8.

According to District Two, ongoing guidance from local health officials along with transmission indicators provided by the Wyoming Department of Health, and statistics collected by Sheridan County, including local hospitalization levels were factors that were considered as part of the review. The Wyoming Department of Health and Sheridan County both continue to classify the county transmission rate as high. Sheridan County added 43 lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 over the weekend and seven probable cases. Currently there are 18 individuals hospitalized in Sheridan County due to COVID-19.
