County Tables Decision on Dow-Dutch Creek Road
Sheridan County’s Commissioners have tabled a decision concerning the vacation of a public right-of-way known as County Road 68, or Dow-Dutch Creek Road.
The commission was scheduled to consider the appointment of appraisers in the matter, but County Engineer Ken Muller spoke about the possibility of tabling the issue to allow time for discussion to reach a compromise, which he explained.
Muller said there is no time limit on the vacation process, and he suggested he, the county attorney’s office and those landowners involved could meet and work through the objections.
The commission voted to table the decision in the matter until their September 7th regular meeting.
