Casper Mountain Fire Fighter And Wife Die From COVID Within 10 Minutes Of Each Other

A volunteer firefighter and his wife have both lost their 1 1/2 week long battle with COVID, and one died not long after the other one did.

A spokesperson for the Casper Mountain Fire District says Walt Kussy and his wife Susie both died Friday morning (August 6th) at the Wyoming Medical Center.

Within 10 minutes of the first death, the other passed away.

Both were admitted to the hospital on July 27th.

Walt was also a local contractor, while Susie was a nurse.

They left behind three boys.
