Expect Flaggers, Delays on Red Grade Road Next Week

A flagging operation to control traffic for logging trucks on Red Grade Road is scheduled for Monday July 19th through Thursday July 22nd, and travelers on Red Grade Road (County Road 26) can expect up to 15-minute delays.
In a release, the Sheridan County Commission announced that on those days between the hours of 7am and 4pm, flaggers will be stopping traffic at the bottom of Red Grade Road to allow trucks hauling logs from a fuel mitigation project to descend the road safely.
After Thursday, trucks may not haul every day, but will periodically haul through the month of August as needed.
Announcements will be made and flaggers will be present when hauling is being done.
The county will notify the public if there are any changes to the timeline of this project.
