Train Derails Outside Of Cheyenne

About 15 cars came off of the tracks at around 2:15am this past Monday (June 21st).

A Union Pacific Railroad spokesperson says an investigation is underway to find out what caused the derailment near Hillsdale.

Some of the cars were loaded and some weren’t.

Once the track is cleared, it will be inspected and repaired if needed.

UPR says shipments could have been delayed 24 to 36 hours.
