High Fire Danger For Yellowstone National Park

In less than one week, the fire danger at Yellowstone National Park has increased.

The parkwide fire danger inside YNP is now high, even though there are no active wildland fires in the park.

There are also no fire restrictions in place or planned in the park.

Campfires are only permitted within established fire rings in campgrounds and some backcountry campsites.

They must always be attended and be cold to the touch before abandoning.
