The HUB on Smith invites every generation to help celebrate Older Americans Month

The HUB on Smith is observing and celebrating Older American’s Month.
The Administration for Community Living leads the nation’s observance of Older Americans Month every May. The theme that has been selected for 2021 is “Communities of Strength.”
A wealth of knowledge and wisdom, older adults have built resilience and strength over their lives through successes, failures, joys, and difficulties. The stories and contributions help to support and inspire others. This OAM, the HUB on Smith is gathering the stories of the Sheridan Region’s older adults and sharing them.
The Hub on Smith’s Senior Fun and Wellness Coordinator Lisa Wells told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse about the effort and the value of having older adults in our lives and community.
