City Treasurer Presents Favorable Sales and Use Tax Report

City of Sheridan Treasurer Karen Burtis recently updated the City Council with the sales and use taxes that were paid in February. Burtis said the taxes paid are up 11.7 percent, or $35,386, over the same time last year. Burtis said the year-to-date sales and use tax is up 8.3 percent.
Burtis said the internet tax is up 28 percent, or $5,993, over the same time period last year, and the year-to-date internet tax is up 42 percent, or $100,152.
