An Upward Trend

City of Sheridan Treasurer Karen Burtis presented the monthly sales and use tax update to the Sheridan City Council at their meeting Monday night. Burtis said the revenue generated in January is up 16 percent from last year’s numbers at this time, and year-to-date numbers are also positive.

Burtis said monthly internet taxes are up 47.8 percent and the year-to-date taxes are up a little over 43 percent.
