A Look Back in Time: March 13, 1921

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on March 13, 1921.

Sheridan has several new cavalry officers, including Harvey E. Lonabaugh, who is now a major in charge of ordnance, which is a regimental staff position.

Mrs. J. H. Burgess, assisted by Mrs. H. Burns, served tea following a pretty vespers service held in the Y.W.C.A. rooms yesterday afternoon. About 60 people were present.

Mrs. Lawrence Duncan returned today from Eureka, Kansas, where she spent the weekend visiting her parents.

Several Sheridan people attended the entertainment and dance given in Dayton by the orchestra of that town.

Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Coast of Ranchester are building a new home on a tract of ground recently purchased from O. G. Rhodes.
