Sheridan Mayor Roger Miller apologizes to Kim Love and Sheridan Media

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Mayor of Sheridan Roger Miller apologized to Kim Love and Sheridan Media for comments made in an email sent to the Sheridan Press. 

The email, sent by Miller on Oct. 29, used the city’s email address and was published by the Sheridan Press Oct. 30, accusing Love and other prominent local residents of unethical behavior and cronyism. 

Miller explained his intent behind the email was as a response to Sheridan Press Publisher Kristen Czaban’s question regarding Miller’s campaign spending after documents showed he used companies outside of the City of Sheridan to print campaign materials.  

During the public comments period of the City Council meeting on Dec. 7, Sheridan resident Paul Delrossi –one of the residents Miller accused of unethical behavior and cronyism– addressed Miller publicly. Miller apologized but did not sign a letter drafted by Delrossi as an official retraction of his statements in the email. 

Miller said in hindsight, “it was not a good email to have sent”, the email was not good for the community and apologized to Lovcom founder Kim Love. 

At the conclusion of his term, Miller said he will get back work with his brother to expand their interests and help their community.
