Two trustees will return to the board of the Northern Wyoming Community College District, and two new trustees will be seated as the result of this week’s elections.

According to Wendy Smith, who’s the district’s assistant vice president of strategic communications, all four will officially start their service on Dec. 1.

Returning to the board are Debra Wendland and Gary Koltiska. Joining them will be Tracy Swanson and Erin Kilbride.

Incumbent trustee Walt Wragge ran for re-election but failed to get enough votes to retain his position. Also running was Richard “Bubba” Hall.

The college district currently oversees operations of Sheridan and Gillette colleges and the Sheridan College campus in Johnson County. Gillette College is in the process of seeking to become a separate college district.
