This year’s Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt auction has gone virtual. Supporters of the annual event can register now, place bids any time through Oct 17 and can tune into the live video streaming event that will be held starting at 7 p.m. on Oct. 17.

This is the eighth year for the event, which is hosted by the Wyoming Women’s Foundation and the Wyoming Community Foundation and raises funds that are invested in the economic self-sufficiency of women and the future of girls in the state.

The event traditionally brings women from all over the U.S. to the Ranch at Ucross for a weekend of friendly competition, fundraising and other activities, with an emphasis on safety, hunting ethics and social interaction. Women are accompanied by guides who provide training in all aspects of the hunt, from harvesting to processing.

Supporters can register to place bids by visiting WyomingWomensAntelopeHunt.org.

People can also support the hunt by making general gifts, donating to the women’s foundation scholarship program and purchasing raffle tickets.
