A Look Back in Time: Aug. 28, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Aug. 28, 1920.

Kooi and the Sheridan Elks will tangle tonight at the park in Sheridan.

The Boy Scouts of Sheridan returned at noon today from their recent 10 days’ camping trip at the mouth of Tongue River Canyon near Dayton.

No passes will be issued to the Sheridan County Fair this year.

Members of the fire department were called out yesterday afternoon to extinguish a brush fire near the Burlington railroad bridge in back of the Superior Laundry. Sparks from a passing train started the blaze.

Infants’ hose start at 15 cents a pair at the Sheridan Variety Store.
