Pat BlairCity Treasuer Karen Burtis had good news for Sheridan’s city council this week.
In a report to the council Monday night, Burtis said sales and use tax receipts for June was about $431,000, up about $34,000 from last year.
Burtis said the city revenues are about $264,000 over budget, about 48 percent.
She said the test will be next month, when the city receives the tax figures for July. There will be no boost this year from the Sheridan-WYO Rodeo, which was canceled because of COVID-19.
