SCLT Discovery Session Explores Native Landscaping

The Sheridan Community Land Trust will host a free Discovery Session “Nativescapes for Your Home,” 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, in the SCLT Community Rooms at 14 Lane Ln. in Sheridan.

According to SCLT, experts from Piney Island Native Plants and Piney Island Conservation Services will discuss how native plants and flowers can be used in home landscapes and gardens, along with the benefits they provide for pollinators, wildlife, and water conservation.

The program is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged.
