Buffalo Police Chief Reports Quiet Longmire Days

Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett updated the city council on the recent Longmire Days celebration, saying it was a “successful weekend.”

He said organizers did a great job and they had a good turnout.

Bissett said there was a REDDI (Report Every Drunk/Dangerous Driver Immediately) report that came in during the street dance, where a female individual was arrested near the outdoor pool for being “highly intoxicated with a child in the car.”

He said the child was returned safely to the father after the arrest.

He also thanked everyone involved from organizers to city crews that helped make his officers’ jobs easier.
