Leonard Bends Talks Pow Wow With Broadcast Audience

One of the featured special guests of the Sheridan Media Broadcast of Friday’s WYO Rodeo Parade was Crow Tribal Elder and Emcee of the First People’s Pow Wow Leonard Bends.

He spoke with Sheridan Media’s Bob Grammens and Liz Kincaid before the start of the parade, detailing the history of the Pow Wow, which was held on the grounds of the Historic Sheridan Inn after the parade.

Crow Nation members performed dances during the event, showcasing their traditions and colorful traditional outfits.
