Jo Co Commission Accepts Homeland Security Grant Agreement

Johnson County Emergency Management Coordinator Jimmy Cataline brought a grant agreement between the county and the Wyoming Department of Homeland Security for their consideration at their regular meeting Tuesday.

Cataline explained the grant.

Cataline said the funding will allow the purchase and installation of 7 or 8 mobile radios for sheriff’s vehicles.

The county attorney’s office reviewed the documents and found no issues with the agreement.

The commission voted to accept the grant award in the amount of $65,000.
