Fire Crews Battle Garage Fire South Of Sheridan

At 9:18pm on Wednesday, June 3rd, Sheridan Area Rural Fire Protection District and Sheridan Fire Rescue responded to the report of a structure fire at 4 Swaim Road.

On arrival, firefighters found an attached garage fully engulfed, with fire moving rapidly into the porch and house.

The close proximity of a fire hydrant allowed the firefighters to use a master stream and multiple hoselines to bring the fire under control, preventing the fire from spreading into the house.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
