Little Big Horn College Targeted In Swatting Call
Montana Law Enforcement suspect a college on the Crow Indian Reservation was a target of a fake threat.
According to a media release from the Big Horn County Montana Sheriff’s Office, at around 12:40pm on Tuesday, June 2nd, a call came in from an anonymous number threatening an active shooter event at Little Big Horn College in Crow Agency.
Multiple Law Enforcement agencies responded to the scene, while the campus, students and staff were secured and the college, along with other surrounding schools and offices were placed in lockdown.
At around 3:20pm, the lockdown was lifted and law enforcement does not believe there is an on-going threat to the public.
The investigation is ongoing and as of right now, the incident appears to have been a swatting call, which has been happening recently in Montana.
