License Agreement Approved
At their regular business meeting Monday night, the Sheridan City Council, under the consent agenda, approved a License Agreement between the City and Sheridan Memorial Hospital for a future trail system through the Hume Draw area. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger said the agreement was needed because a portion of the soon to be constructed singletrack trail crosses property owned by the Hospital
The singletrack trail will be available for pedestrian and bicycle travel and will be constructed and maintained by the Bighorn Trails Coalition, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was formed late last year with a focus on building sustainable motorized and non-motorized trails and related infrastructure in the Bighorn Mountains, Sheridan and Sheridan County.
