Golgotha 2026

Cloud Peak Cross Fit in Sheridan hosted its first-ever Golgotha 2026 which started Good Friday and will end Easter Sunday. Sixteen athletes will work out a few minutes the top of every hour for 24 hours. When done exercising, they will read scriptures, recover and rest. Each hour follows the scriptures for the last 24 hours of the life of Jesus.

Photojournalist Clint Wood captured the athletes executing barefoot deadlifts to honor Jesus washing his disciples’ feet.

There were 34 fitness facilities nationwide participating in the event. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes partnered for this event.
