City Council Awards Bid for Street Signal Intersection Design

The Sheridan City Council met for their first regular business meeting of April Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

The only item under new business was the City Council’s approval of an award for the design of the signal intersection at 5th Street and Val Vista Street to Engineering Associates in the amount of $65,000. City Engineer Thomas Morneau.

Morneau explains what the intersection redesign will all entail.

Morneau said the project is being funded with General Purpose Excise Tax funds. The City Council also received an audit review from City Treasurer Darla Hawkins and a Hume Draw update from Parks Director Steve Gage. We’ll have more from the City Council meeting in future stories.
