Williams Talks Webb Wright Baseball
The Sheridan Recreation District is once again offering youth baseball programs for children ages 4 through 6th grade, including Little Sluggers and Webb Wright Baseball leagues.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Youth Recreation Supervisor JD Williams spoke on the varied leagues available through SRD for the 2026 year.

Registration is open for each league and runs through April 10. Practices will begin in late April, with some of the games starting May 18.
Programs take place at Sheridan Recreation District facilities, including local ball fields such as Thorne-Rider Park and other community complexes in Sheridan.
The Pee Wee Coach Pitch division is available for first- and second-grade students, who will be placed on school-based teams, with a registration fee of $60.
The Intermediate Player Pitch division is open to third- and fourth-grade students, who will be drafted onto teams representing Tongue River, Big Horn and Buffalo, with Buffalo maintaining its own teams, for a fee of $65.
The Minors Player Pitch division includes fifth- and sixth-grade students, who will also be drafted onto Tongue River, Big Horn and Buffalo teams, with Buffalo fielding its own teams, and carries a registration fee of $75.
