DSA Peep Dreams

The Downtown Sheridan Association is partnering with SAGE Community Arts to present Peep Dreams, a community art show running March 16 through April 6 in historic downtown Sheridan. The promotion invites local artists to transform marshmallow “peeps” into creative works of art that will be displayed throughout participating downtown businesses.

Downtown Sheridan Association Executive Director Zoila Perry and Promotions and Marketing Committee Chair Mikkayla Heath said this is actually an art show in collaboration with SAGE, the DSA and local businesses taking place downtown.

The event features contributions from several local SAGE Member artists including Gene Sager, Donna Konzak, Emi Whiting, Judy Bishop, Niki Swenson, Jill Benson, Rachel Ruleaux, Candis Ainslie and more. Each artist will use their preferred medium to reimagine the familiar Easter candy into a unique artistic piece.

All submitted creations will be showcased inside downtown shops, galleries and other businesses, encouraging residents and visitors to explore multiple locations while viewing the artwork.
