Sheridan Commission Ratifies Commitment for Rodeo Grounds Project Grant
Sheridan County’s Commissioners have ratified a Letter of Commitment for the Rodeo Grounds Pedestrian Transportation Infrastructure Grant.
According to information supplied by the county, the Board of County Commissioners approved support for this project at a public meeting in February and authorized commitment of county funds to serve as the required local match, expected to be up to approximately $160,000.
The proposed project includes pedestrian safety and accessibility improvements in high-use areas of the fairgrounds, including areas adjacent to the main grandstands and designated accessible parking. These enhancements are intended to improve circulation, reduce conflicts between pedestrians and vehicles, and provide safer access for all users.
The commission ratified the letter of commitment as part of their Consent Agenda.
