Sheriff Notes Trend in Incarcerations

Sheridan County Sheriff Levi Dominguez said the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office Year In Review Report is currently being compiled and will be available in the coming months.

The Sheriff’s Office compiles and analyzes data across its divisions to identify trends that may require additional resources, while also making that information available to the public.

A trend anecdotally noted by Sheriff Dominguez refers to people incarcerated in the county jail and the misuse of alcohol. 

In regards to alcohol related offences, Dominguez did say many were on downward trends and said his office will continue to analyze the data.
