Request for Bar and Grill License Considered by City Council
A request from a downtown business for a Bar and Grill License was an item of consideration at Monday night’s Sheridan City Council business meeting. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Following a public hearing, the City Council voted to approve Smith Alley Brewing Company’s request for one of the City’s bar and grill licenses. City Clerk Ashlee Foster said that since Smith Alley already has a microbrewery license, their fees will fall under the dual license rule that is set by State statute.
Foster said the fee for the bar and grill license will be $10,500 for the first year, $3,000 for the second year, and $1,500 for year three and each year after.
